Mo'olelo (story)

It all started when...

Our Kupuna Kāne (Grandfather) followed the Titanic over in the early 1900’s from England to Canada as a young boy, eventually finding his way to the Hawaiian Islands for a printing job in the early 1930’s,  met our Tutu (Grandmother),  a visiting nurse from Michigan who worked in the surgery department at Queens Hospital in Honolulu in the 1930’s.   A true love story.   Four daughters later in a home on Kailua Beach, they built their dream home across Kailua Bay, here at Hale Kailua in the early 1950’s.  To this day, the children, grandchildren and great grand children enjoy their family home and invite you to do the same.
